About Us
One Vision Uniformed Services sees the person within the uniform.
We care about and for those who care and have served or serve us.
One Vision Uniformed Services CIC (affectionately known as OVUS) is a community interest company which as the song by Queen our name was born from One Goal One mission,
to help provide mental health support and social wellbeing to those who are in our Armed Forces, Veterans, Adult Cadet Volunteers, Fire, Police, Ambulances, Prison, Other Emergency Services and their families in the Cumbria and North Lancashire and Wider Northwest ALL are welcomed at OVUS.
One Vision Uniformed Services CIC was founded in 2022 by Janine.
We at OVUS believe and are dedicated in supporting those who have and continue to risk themselves, putting their life on the line endeavouring to serve and support us all to live a democratic, free, law abiding, respectful life.
Our motto says it all “Serving Those Who Serve Us “
We at One Vision values each and every member of these services and their families (past or present). They ALL matter and it is our goal to help and support those who selflessly help and have helped us.
We understand the effect trauma and PTSD has on our ex-services, military and emergency service personnel as well as the potential and possible effects of this on their family too.
WE are here to help and serve our military, ex-military and emergency services and offer to them and their families and community mental health support and social wellbeing, advocacy, guidance and support.
One Vision Uniformed Services CIC aims to primarily offer and serve this with
1, one-to-one counselling.
One Vision understands the constraints of our emergency services, locations, shifts and location can sometimes seem a barrier to them engaging in support. So, with this in mind Our counselling service can be offered via different platforms either face to face, or remotely or over the telephone or a blend of whatever suits you. Some evening sessions will be available to.
2, Wives, partners and parents counselling and support.
3, Group sessions.
4, Our fortnightly NAAFi Café for social & community wellbeing
5, Our Empower Hour women`s community group to blend all our community women in one safe space and non-judgemental, fun space.
6, One Vision has a vision to keep serving those who serve us, to keep providing mental health support, wellbeing, advocacy, guidance and support to our Armed Forces Community, emergency services past or present as well as our wider community.
As demand for our services continues to grow we offer other help including more holistic and practical services for the whole family. New Projects are in our sights so please “watch this space”
